Hi Janet, yes its your short little boss of the past that always had to look up to you (question is am I talking our height differential or how I felt about you as a person) the former of course and I always think of you. We went through some tough, interesting and great times together. You had to admit it was never a dull moment.
I don't think I've ever met a more gracious hostess, to the ambarrasment that I should of worked the events and you should have been out networking. Wait a minute, now that I think of it, that is what happenned. Oh well at least I got paid more.
You know that back pain, not sure if this will work but when I layed on that friggin bed for 24hours a day I could hardly walk, then one of those great friends came around and gave me a 10 minute rub on the lower back and man did that make a difference. I'm so old now I can remember when that was standard fare for the nurses. Thank god they still clean up the mess we make. Love you always, Little John M
You need to know that your ongoing advice and encouragement in support of my move into the political arena will surely result in an interesting change at some point in my career…and when I AM the new Mayor of Belcarra (or ???) you and others will know that you were the driving force behind this! All this to say thank you for your ongoing support and encouragement and to let you know I’m here to return the favour!
On another note: Who needs the Oscars or the Hollywood “A” list?, being on your “A” list was all I needed to have more Fun than corporate policy could ever allow.
Though this takes us back a few years, I can still recall the tenacity with which you were able to separate the “A” listers from those who tried to crash VIP venues without sporting the appropriate credentials... now that was fun to watch! You always were a "force to be reckoned with" and reading through the comments other have left, that hasn't changed!
How about "Fabulous"? And don't worry Janet, I'm not talking Ghetto-Fabulous! Although they DO have some funky bling (there's another F word!) Fabulous; that's you in a nutshell. (I just KNOW there's a joke in there somewhere....)
Hi Janet, its Rozalyn Harris, blast from the past. Just want you to know I'm thinking of you. I started remembering about the good old days in BC Tel, it seems to me we partied a lot then. I see you are surrounded by friends and love, your the sun in their orbit....naturally.
Not an "F" word but an "A" word. Hi Janet and Mark, it has been a long while. I just learned of Janet's condition and wanted to know I am thinking of you and wishing you both peace and strength on your journey. As you might know, my daughter, Sabrina battled Ovarian Cancer 4 1/2 years ago (she is now in University) and spent a lot of time on the computer during treatment as she had to home-school. She posted the following phrase over her workstation, and it has become my touchstone and I want to share it with you both.
Attitude by Charles Swindoll "The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company ... a church ... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude ... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me, and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you ... we are in charge of our Attitudes."
all the best to you both Regards Brian Losie 250-893-2240
My 'F' word for the day is ....FAITH....I bet you thought I was going to say something else! I am very thankful that GOD crashed SRT2 during a training session in 2005, because I got to spend 2 hours with a great group of women, discussing our Christian beliefs. That is where I met Janet and am happy God put her in my path! My prayers are with you,be brave and strong!
Hey Gorgeous! Wanted to thank-you for being so incredibly supportive - helping me take the stage. I've always looked up to you as a remarkable woman who is incredibly articulate and beautiful. I can't believe I actually got to help put on an event with you AND spend time building our glowing introductions together. How fun was that! I was actually quite nervous but you being so encouraging made me feel like a star.
Wanted to let you know I'm thinking about you - I moved to Edmonton otherwise I'd be visiting.
You are a bright light that shines on all you meet - thanks for shinning on me! (Check out Matt 5:14)

Janet and Mark,
Hope you're enjoying the picture I left on your dresser and that it evokes some of the Fs you need - Fun, Frivolity and Friskiness.
Your Friend,
Patrick

Hi Janet and Mark,
I just wanted you to know I've been thinking a lot about you these days! I know you're both meeting each challenge with fortitude and chutzpah!
(And I got the messages about no more Fs. So no need to worry- I won't be sending over any more uber healthy muffins!)
But I will send some big, positive healing vibes and cyber hugs across the ocean to you!
Take good care!
Love Carol (Biehl)
